Problem & context

Property buyers compare a shortlist over days or weeks, often across devices. The original site treated every visit as a fresh search, with no way to save, compare or return to a shortlist, and enquiry forms asked for more information than most visitors were willing to give.

Process & key decisions

I designed a split map-and-list view so location context stays visible while scanning results, and added a persistent shortlist that survives across sessions.

Listing pages were restructured to lead with the facts buyers ask for first — price, area, configuration, locality — followed by gallery and neighbourhood detail. The enquiry form was cut to three fields with an optional callback slot.

Outcome

  • Split map-and-list search view for location-driven browsing.
  • Persistent shortlist and side-by-side property comparison.
  • Enquiry form reduced to three required fields.
