Problem & context

Marketplaces live or die on trust. OLAMOU connects many independent sellers with buyers, which meant the interface had to make quality and reliability legible before anyone commits to a purchase.

The existing concept had strong supply but a flat listing experience: sellers were indistinguishable, filters were shallow, and buyers had no reassurance about delivery or returns.

Process & key decisions

I mapped the buyer and seller journeys separately, then designed a shared component language so both sides felt like one product. Seller identity was promoted into the listing card — rating, response time and fulfilment badge — so trust signals appear before the click.

Search was rebuilt with faceted filters and saved searches, and the checkout surfaces delivery estimates and return terms inline rather than hiding them behind links.

Outcome

  • Trust signals moved into listing cards instead of seller sub-pages.
  • Faceted search and saved searches added to the browse experience.
  • One shared design language across buyer and seller surfaces.
